Mathew Heron
FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
Mathew became a qualified motor mechanic at the age of 20 and progressed quickly to Supervisor of a leading fast-paced workshop.
Mathew gained his heavy diesel qualifications whilst working in the mining and civil construction industries. As a Lead Field Service Fitter, he was responsible for managing large fleets of commercial site 4WDs, earthmoving and civil construction equipment, stationary engines, and trucks.
Mathew is truly passionate about what he does. Outside of work, Mathew drifts his purpose-built Toyota AE86. When not at the track, you’ll find Mathew and his wife Melinda taking their young family on an off-road adventure with their caravan.
Melinda Heron
HEAD OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Wife to Mathew Heron, Melinda has a Bachelor in Business Management and a Bachelor in Behavioural Science. Melinda brings to the Carbon team her experience as an HR Manager and extensive knowledge of business operations.
Melinda is well acquainted with engines. As a 16 year old she restored her own first car, a Ford TX3. A ground-up rebuild project with her father.
